Open House and BBQ
to officially meet our new Executive Director Korina Boettcher!
This past August the Cabin hosted a fun-filled Open House and BBQ at the Cabin! This event was a wonderful opportunity for current and future families to connect, explore our facilities, and learn more about our programs. They enjoyed delicious food, met our dedicated staff, and engaged with other families in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you to Caitlyn Marie Photography for taking some wonderful photos of the event!
Storage Solutions Delivered
Once again we would like to thank T Bar 1 Transport out of Lloydminster for not only helping us source a great deal on a used seacan, but for picking it up and delivering it to us free of charge! We are so excited to have this expanded area of storage!
** Future of the Cabin: Exciting Developments Ahead!**
At the Kitscoty Community Cabin 4 Kids Society, we are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our mission to support local families and enhance our youth programs. We are excited to partner with Buffalo Trails Public School to transition our out-of-school program for Grades 1 and up directly into the Kitscoty Elementary School. This collaboration marks an important step forward for our community and the youth we serve.
This move is not just a logistical change; it represents a surge in growth for the Cabin. By integrating our program into the school environment, we aim to create a seamless and enriching experience for kids, where learning and fun go hand in hand. Students have the opportunity to transition smoothly from their school day to our after-school activities, fostering a sense of community and stability vital for their development.
The Cabin has always been dedicated to providing high-quality programs that cater to the needs and interests of our children. By working closely with Buffalo Trails Public School, we are ensuring that our curriculum aligns with school values while also allowing us to expand our offerings. With access to more resources and facilities, we are excited to introduce enhanced programming, more play space and better community relationships.
Additionally, this expansion reinforces our commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth. We are determined to create a space where every child feels welcomed and inspired to explore their interests, develop new skills, and make lasting friendships.
For the families in our community, this development means greater convenience, improved programming, and the assurance that their children are receiving the best care and guidance available. As we look to the future, we are excited about the endless possibilities that lie ahead for the Cabin and the positive impact it will have on our youth.
Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this new chapter together! We encourage everyone to participate in our upcoming events, including our Free Community Movie Nights, where families can learn more about our programs and how we plan to grow together. Thank you for your continued support of the Cabin and the wonderful families who make our community shine!

Why do you like coming to daycare?
"Because it's fun!" ~ Aubrey, Age 5
"Because I can do the monkey bars and hang out with my friends!" ~ Payton, Age 6
"We play and I love class!" ~ Maren, Age 3
“In just a short time at the cabin, we have witnessed continued growth within our kids. They love daycare and always look forward to going there to see all their friends. Our youngest gets especially excited as he feels like he is “going to school” just like his sisters. The cabin staff always provides an upbeat, inviting, safe, interactive, and inclusive space for our kids to engage in age appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors. We also love the daily reports and pictures at the end of the day. We are so grateful to be a part of the Cabin 4 Kids crew.”
